Visitors and Guests.  If you have friends or family visiting and want to show people around the library who haven’t seen it before, or indeed may well be interested in joining, you are more than welcome to do so. We have self guided tours you can give your visitors, as you show them around, as well as a really informative history leaflet they can take home.  This is extended to all our members.  The visitor and guest facility does not allow you to bring someone into the library to then work or study with you, or use the library to make use of our collection, and library services for members.

Our membership year runs from 1st  April until 31st  March the following year, if you join anytime after April you will be charged the appropriate pro-rata amount.  You can also spread the cost of your membership by paying across via quarterly payments – only available if you pay via Direct Debit.  Paying by Direct Debit keeps our administrative costs lower, and as a registered charity we work hard to ensure these are reduced where we can.

We require completion in ink and a signature in ink, therefore you may wish to contact the library and we will be more than happy to post a membership form out to you, or you can make an appointment to collect a form and have a chat about membership.
