Photographer in Residence

Jim Grainger, an NTU photography graduate, will be working with us as a photographer in residence until the end of the year.

He will be in the library on the first Wednesday and Friday of each month to take photographs of the library and its members (with permission), and to develop plates on site. His particular interest is in nineteenth century photographic techniques. He has been given library membership until the end of the year. He will be running at least two events similar to the very successful wet plate collodion demonstration he held last year, and also plans to run hands-on workshops for our members in collaboration with The Nottingham Photo Parlour
